Welcome to Farmhouse Threads!   I have been sewing since I was 12 years old - I actually made all my "Barbie" doll clothes when I was a kid. I made the outfit I wore to high school grad night - what a dork! I was taught by my mother, Ardie Skjod, who is still sewing - she has won many awards for her beautiful quilts. Through the years I have been quilting off and on, in between different jobs and raising my twin daughters, Lindsey and Melissa. My daughters are all grown up, married, and starting families of their own - my first granddaughter is almost a year old. I finally decided to do what I love and design quilts for a living. My mom is helping by making samples and even designing some quilts. My daughters are helping me with the shows and Lindsey wants to learn to sew to make baby clothes for her daughter - yeah!!! We are still working on Melissa. So here it is - I hope you enjoy our unique collection of patterns for home and holiday.....
